Educational Sponsorships
Empowerment Through Education
TJA helps underserved children in Liberia access quality education through annual educational scholarships. We believe that children who have access to quality education are better able to break the cycles of poverty and limited opportunity. School is where children acquire essential skills such as reading, writing, math, critical thinking and problem-solving. It’s where they develop stronger social and life skills like teamwork, communication and respect. Your support keeps students in school, protects their future, and opens doors that would otherwise remain closed.
Since 2018, with your help, TJA has been providing annual educational scholarships. These scholarships are assessed annually and are granted according to the greatest need and funds available. Each child in the scholarship recipients list has a demonstrated critical need for financial assistance.
An annual $350 Educational Scholarship provides a student with a new pair of shoes, a bookbag with basic school supplies, the required school uniform, and one full year of quality educational instruction in a structured classroom.
An Educational Scholarship is $350 (or $30/month for 1 year.)

Vocational Sponsorships
Opportunity Through Vocational Training
In 2024, we celebrated our first High School graduate! Since then, we’ve joyfully celebrated each new graduate knowing that their futures have been forever altered by their determination and their sponsors’ generosity. Students’ resiliency and determination propelled them through their studies and across the finish line of
graduation.
Also in 2024, we recognized that most graduates need some additional support to obtain job skills before becoming wage earners. Through a partnership with [Organization Name], TJA offers deserving graduates access to a 16-week certification program in fields such as truck driving, hairdressing, and project management.
A $160 vocational sponsorship covers the cost of registration and participation in one vocational training program of their choosing. These programs equip graduates with valuable job skills, increasing their employment opportunities and helping them achieve financial stability for themselves and their families.
Vocational Sponsorships are $160 (or $10/week for 16 weeks.)
