Foundation of Interior Ministries

The mission of the Foundation for Assistance to Interior Ministries (FAIM-Liberia Inc.) is to empower, equip, and support pastors, church leaders, missionaries, and local congregations in Liberia's rural and underserved communities to effectively fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

FAIM is committed to strengthening the capacity of interior ministries by providing accessible biblical education, practical ministry training, leadership development, and discipleship resources to those who may have limited opportunities to attend traditional Bible colleges or theological institutions.

Through its flagship initiative, Bible School on Wheels, FAIM brings theological education and ministry training directly to pastors and church leaders in remote towns and villages throughout Liberia, ensuring that geographical location, financial limitations, and lack of educational infrastructure do not prevent Christian leaders from receiving essential biblical and ministerial training.

Our Vision

To see spiritually mature, biblically grounded, and effectively equipped pastors and church leaders serving thriving, disciple-making churches throughout Liberia's interior communities, transforming lives and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ from village to village and generation to generation.

Our Flagship Initiative: Bible School on Wheels

Bible School on Wheels is a mobile biblical education and leadership development program designed to bring practical theological training directly to rural communities.

Rather than requiring pastors and church leaders to leave their families, congregations, and communities to attend distant Bible schools, FAIM sends trained missionary pastors, Bible teachers, and ministry facilitators into towns and villages to establish accessible, community-based learning centers.  These centers serve as local hubs for biblical instruction, leadership development, discipleship training, and collaborative ministry.

The program focuses on five essential areas:

1.     Biblical and Theological Education: Providing foundational instruction in Old and New Testament studies, biblical interpretation, Christian doctrine, and the application of Scripture to everyday life and ministry.

2.     Biblical Leadership Development: Equipping pastors and church leaders with practical skills in servant leadership, pastoral care, church administration, ethical leadership, and effective ministry management.

3.     Disciple-Making and Discipleship: Training leaders to evangelize, nurture new believers, establish sustainable discipleship pathways, and multiply spiritually mature followers of Jesus Christ.

4.     Evangelism and Missionary Training: Preparing local believers, emerging missionaries, and church leaders to communicate the Gospel effectively, engage their communities, establish new fellowships, and support church planting initiatives.

5.     Church Strengthening and Community Transformation: Helping local congregations become spiritually healthy, biblically grounded, and actively engaged in addressing the spiritual and practical needs of their communities.

Our Approach

FAIM believes that lasting spiritual transformation begins with empowered local leadership. By investing in pastors and church leaders who already live and serve within their communities, the organization seeks to build sustainable ministry capacity rather than dependence on outside missionaries.  Through partnerships with local churches, experienced ministry leaders, and Christian organizations, FAIM seeks to create opportunities for ongoing mentorship, practical ministry experience, and continuing biblical education.

Our goal is not simply to provide theological knowledge, but to develop faithful, competent, and compassionate Christian leaders who can teach others, make disciples, strengthen churches, and multiply the impact of the Gospel.

Our Biblical Foundation

FAIM's mission is rooted in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19–20, which calls His followers to make disciples of all nations, baptize believers, and teach them to obey His commandments. Our leadership development model is also guided by 2 Timothy 2:2, emphasizing the importance of entrusting biblical teaching to faithful individuals who will be equipped to teach others. We believe that when one pastor is equipped, an entire congregation can be strengthened; when a congregation is strengthened, a community can be transformed; and when communities are transformed, the Gospel can reach the next generation.

Our Commitment

FAIM-Liberia Inc. is committed to making biblical education accessible, equipping indigenous Christian leadership, strengthening rural churches, and advancing sustainable disciple-making movements throughout Liberia. Our guiding conviction is simple: We bring biblical education to those who cannot easily access it, equip those who have been called to serve, and empower local churches to fulfill the Great Commission.
