Meet Evelyne Wuo (age 11)

Age 11, Grade 2

Evelyne Wuo is grieving her mother's death and living with her aunt, who prioritizes her children over Evelyne. Evelyne faces neglect and discouragement, often watching her cousins enjoy outings and new clothes while she is left out. Even when Evelyne receives clothes from others, her aunt takes them and gives them to others instead. Her schooling is uncertain and dependent on chance, adding to her challenges. We thank God that help is coming Evelyn's way.
