Meet Chris Anna (age 4)

Chris's father once sold phone chargers on Broad Street in Monrovia, a small beacon of hope in a bustling market. However, with the arrival of the new government, all street vendors were driven away, leaving Chris's family adrift. Now, her mother struggles to make ends meet by tying small bundles of charcoal to sell and barely manages to sustain their home. Chris, often seen wandering the community during school hours, is left exposed to the dangers of the streets. We desperately wish for Chris to be given the chance to attend school; it would provide her with a better future and protect her from the constant threats she faces in the community.
