Meet Mercy Miller (Age 10)

Mercy Miller once lived with her father, a man struggling to provide for his many children. In hopes of giving Mercy a better chance, he sent her to stay with his sister, entrusting her with the responsibility of sending Mercy to school. To help out, Mercy worked alongside her aunt, selling pepper and bitter balls at a market table near their home. Though her aunt had begun sending Mercy to school last year, the hope was short-lived. Tragically, Mercy was expelled due to unpaid school fees and could not continue her education, and she could hardly bear the weight of shame and disgrace of being ousted from school. The experience was more than just a setback; it was a deep, personal humiliation that she struggled to endure
